Semi Permanent Make up Treatments are intended to enhance your natural features, using the highest quality of pigments / ink and tools for optimal, long lasting healed results.

Eyebrows are your most prominent feature as they shape and frame your face and will effect your overall appearance. PMU can solve many problems and give a more symmetrical, flattering finish. Depending on your natural hair growth, skin type and expectations will determine which style of brows are best for you. Ombre brows (or ombré eyebrows) have become a huge trend in semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows. Just like the basic powder brows, it’s a procedure that gives you the look of filled-in, shaded brows, but with a special twist – the ombre effect.

The pigment is inserted using a dotting technique called pixelization, giving a 3D, fluffy look to the eyebrows. The procedure is done using a machine specially designed for semi permanent makeup. There are two steps to this treatment the initial appointment, and the touch up after 8 – 12 weeks.

The powder ombre brow effect is easily recognized by the colour gradation that starts at the beginning of the brow arch – known as the head of the brow – in the centre of the forehead and gets gradually darker towards the tail. This creates an illusion of fading.

In some cases, powder ombre brows are an even better option than microblading, for example, for people with oily skin, or large pores as these characteristics tend to be problematic for drawing microblading strokes.

Also, they’re more suitable for people who spend a lot of time in the sun, as sunlight can make microblading strokes fade unevenly. With ombre, this is not so obvious. All treatments are bespoke and individually designed for each client so if you are unsure on what is best for you, Ashley will guide you.​

Are Ombre brows for me? 

1. This procedure works with most skin types, including oily skin which can be troublesome for other cosmetic procedures.
2. The eyebrow looks much more defined and dramatic than with the classic, microblading method, and it’s more unique and striking than with traditional powder brows. 

Are you suitable for PMU?
If you have any of the following conditions, It doesn’t mean you can not get tattooed but we need to know in order to guide you with the right information most conditions will need to be done with advice (letter) from your doctor:
– Under 18 years old age
– Pregnancy and breastfeeding (a raise in hormone levels can lead to elevated Sensitivity, that can trigger adverse reactions and inconsistent results)
– Infection at the treatment site
– Higher temperature
– Cancer – the possibility of performing the procedure 6 months after chemo
– Diabetes in the unstable phase
– Haemophilia
– Active Herpes (Relevant only in cases involving Lip Blush) 
– Advanced thyroid disease
– Psoriasis
– HIV or Hepatitis 
– Long-term use of blood thinners, Steroids, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
– Aesthetic medicine treatment, strong exfoliation (at least 2 months after) 
– Epilepsy
– Skin with keloid and scar tendencies
