Lip Filler is an extremely popular treatment which enhances lip size to create more plump lips which do not ‘disappear’ when you smile, correct asymmetry or scars on the lip, create a balance between the upper and lower lip. Lip filler can be used improve the shape of lips to give a more beautiful cupids bow and defined lip shape, add definition to the borders of your lips and reduce lines and creases around the mouth area (including ‘smoker’s lines’ / “lipstick lines”). Lip Filler can also be used to enhance hydration of the lips and recreate the look of a lip lift without the need for going under the knife

Dermal Fillers can be placed across the whole face to enhance, volumize, rejuvenate many facial features dependant on your concerns and ideals.

What are Dermal Fillers?

At our clinic, we use Hyaluronic acid fillers which is a natural sugar present in the human body. When injected, it can rejuvenate and volumize the skin to reduce the signs of ageing, laxity and sag.  

We specialise in a  ‘less is more’ approach, with our desired look to always be noticeable but unnoticeable. Natural, subtle and fresh. We can always add more and build on your result at a later stage. Lip filler can be used to create your desired lip look. Whether that’s volume, hydration, definition or a sharp cupids bow, we can enhance the lip as much or little as you want.

Treatment time is roughly 45 mins, results from filler is instant the results will last for 3-12 months depending on you and your body. (i.e. bruises etc)

What to do before my appointment?

• No alcohol, coffee, energy drinks 24 hours prior.
• No blood thinners 48 hours prior (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamins)
• No anti wrinkle (Botox) 3 weeks prior to the procedure and 3 weeks after around the lip area.
• No sunbeds within 24 hours prior
• If you suffer from cold sores, you need to be taking acyclovir at least 7 days prior to your appointment and continue to take it 3 days after your procedure.
• Avoid extreme exercise for 24hours before
• Arrive with no makeup
• Ensure you’ve not been treated with a filler, laser or chemical peel for 4 weeks prior in the area that you want treated
• You arrive with no makeup or creams 

We will provide you with a numbing agent if necessary prior to your treatment. Other than that, We welcome you to relax and enjoy your treatments with us.

Who can not have this treatment?
Unfortunately you cannot have this treatment if

• Pregnant or Breastfeeding
• Patients with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine and/or amide local anaesthetic agents, hyaluronic acid or a history of severe allergy or anaphylactic shock.
• Patients with autoimmune diseases.
• Patients who are immunosuppressed (due to a health condition or medication)
• Anyone under 18 years.
• Sportsmen and women should be informed that hyaluronic acid dermal fillers contain an active ingredient which may give a positive result in a drug test.
• Local inflammation or infection
• History of keloid scars
• A history or surgery, breaks or trauma to the area may be a contraindication- please check with the clinic prior to booking.
