Semi Permanent Make up Treatments are intended to enhance your natural features, using the highest quality of pigments / ink and tools for optimal, long lasting healed results.

The Hairstroke Brows technique is a permanent make-up method that realistically imitates eyebrow hairs. The aim is to achieve the most natural effect, which respects the shape of the eyebrows and the direction of hair growth so that the client does not recognize the tattooed hairs from her own. The resulting effect of Hairstroke is an airy, virgin eyebrows. Each person, is unique, there is no same pair of eyebrows and even on the person themselves.

Every pair of eyebrows is unique. There are some eyebrows that are more rounded, some more straight, some shorter, some longer, some narrower, bigger, etc. If a client chooses to have permanent makeup, it means they want to enhance their brows and our role in this case is to find the best possible option for the client. The goal of Hairstroke brows is to restore the eyebrows to their ‘virgin’ look, in which real hairs will be unrecognizable from tattooed ones.

The inspiration is children’s untouched eyebrows, it is the most natural brow the airy untouched eyebrows. Due to age we lose our eyebrows or we groom our eyebrows in to an eyebrow “trend” which can cause the removed hair not to grow back. Although the hairstroke technique is not suitable for all types of clients. For a perfect healed result Ashley will asses whether you are suitable or not at the consultation or via phone consultation.  The healed results are lovely soft and natural hair strokes.

Clients perfect for this technique will have normal, dry or combination skin. Their brow hair should be thin/ sparse. If you have full brows this technique will be unsuitable for you. Little / no hair to light and fluffy is the most suited to this technique. THE FINAL EFFECT IS VISIBLE AT LEAST 5 WEEKS AFTER APPLICATION AND DEPENDS ON:

• 30% on the artist (type and shade of pigment, technique)
• 40% on skin type (usually dry skin gives richer and more pronounced healed results than oily skin)
• 30% on aftercare (no or excessive aftercare gives undesirable healed results)

Are you suitable for PMU?
If you have any of the following conditions, It doesn’t mean you can not get tattooed but we need to know in order to guide you with the right information most conditions will need to be done with advice (letter) from your doctor:
– Under 18 years old age
– Pregnancy and breastfeeding (a raise in hormone levels can lead to elevated Sensitivity, that can trigger adverse reactions and inconsistent results)
– Infection at the treatment site
– Higher temperature
– Cancer – the possibility of performing the procedure 6 months after chemo
– Diabetes in the unstable phase
– Haemophilia
– Active Herpes (Relevant only in cases involving Lip Blush) 
– Advanced thyroid disease
– Psoriasis
– HIV or Hepatitis 
– Long-term use of blood thinners, Steroids, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
– Aesthetic medicine treatment, strong exfoliation (at least 2 months after) 
– Epilepsy
– Skin with keloid and scar tendencies
